The best way to explore any city is on foot. Ridding a bicycle is an alternative to walking, but Belgrade city centre is not a great place for bicycles. Howewer , there are other places in the city where cycling is highly popular.
Around the Sava lake there are 7km of surfaced pedestrian paths with many cafes and restaurants. You can of course , turnoff into the less acessible wooded oarts of Ada Ciganlija.

Danube and Sava river bank
The built-up begans in th eold part of Zemun, going past the Hotel Jugoslavija, until it reaches the confluence of the Sava and Danube, and then passes under the bridges of Belgrade until you reach Blok 45 in Novi Beograd. For most of its length it passes by a large number of cafes, clubs and floating restaurants.

Lido
Lido is located on the northen tip of the Great War Island, on Danube. It is actually a small , pointed sandy beach without permanent residents, which covers just small fragment of the island. It can get crowded on the beach during the summer , but otherwise it is very peaceful.The Zoo
